Barnabus' Iirarai, "Rai" for short, made his show debut Fall 2008 taking a blue ribbon in a class of 12 at the Virginia Alpaca Expo!
Rai represents a powerful genetic lineage, combining the crazy fineness of his sire, Maple Brook Barnabus (12 micron fleece!)and the deep amplitude crimp, brightness, density, and staple length of his dam, Cordileran Fraise.
Rai's maternal grandsire is Peruvian Presidio!
Rai is 15/16 Peruvian, 1/16 Chilean.
